Information you submit

When you use the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, company (optional) and a description of your situation. The form also contains a hidden field used only to detect automated submissions.

The description field is free text, so it holds whatever you choose to write. Please don’t include confidential or sensitive information; a brief summary is enough to start.

How inquiries are processed

Each submission is checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, then sent by email through Resend, our transactional email provider, to Cold Light Advisory's business mailbox on Google Workspace. Inquiries are read only by Cold Light Advisory.

We use what you send to reply to you and to discuss a possible engagement. We do not sell it, share it for anyone else’s marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information about each visit, such as IP address, browser type and request details, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use analytics or advertising services on this site, and we do not set cookies to track you. The contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates signals from your browser to tell people apart from automated traffic. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Third-party services

We use three service providers to run this site and handle inquiries: Cloudflare (website hosting and Turnstile spam protection), Resend (delivery of contact-form messages) and Google Workspace (business email). Each processes information on our behalf under its own terms and privacy policy.

Retention

We keep inquiries in our business mailbox for as long as needed to respond and to manage any engagement that follows. Website inquiries are filed in a dedicated mailbox label and reviewed every quarter. Those that haven’t led to an engagement are deleted at the first quarterly review after 24 months without contact.

Our hosting and email delivery providers keep limited technical logs, such as delivery records, for periods set by their own policies.
